The Philadelphia 76ers are off to another slow start being the only team in the league without a single win through their first seven games. It has put them quickly into down an all-too-familiar being near the bottom of the standings once again. In light of that, Hall of Famer Allen Iverson made a recent visit to practice to give them a pep talk.

It’s quite surprising to see Iverson make an appearance, but his presence shows the level of frustration that those outside of the organization. The 76ers are coming off three straight seasons with 60-plus losses with no end in sight. This has created a losing culture around the team.
That said, there is some promise on the roster led by Joel Embiid, who has been a pleasant surprise through the early portion of the season. There is also the eventual return of Ben Simmons, who is recovering from a foot surgery. Although the team will continue to struggle for the time being, there is now finally an optimistic outlook for the franchise.
