In the last few months, there has been much chatter surrounding Nerlens Noel future with the Philadelphia 76ers. The Raptors are among the teams that have expressed interest in Philadelphia’s very available Nerlens Noel, but sources say Toronto’s initial preference in the wake of losing Jared Sullinger (foot) to injury is to give more minutes to various younger players
Toronto is trying to attempt to address a pressing need with Sullinger also out with a foot injury has made matters worse That said, there still isn’t a timetable for Noel’s return from surgery on his left knee. The Raptors may have to wait awhile before getting clarity on the situation.
Prior to this latest injury, Noel had shown he could be a highly productive player averaging 11.1 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks. He had also quickly earned the reputation as a great rim protector. Once things clear up about his recovery, expect it all to start picking up in the trade market.
