In the last few months, there has been a noticeable absence of Kalisto from the ring. He had been nursing a back injury since mid-August. According to Wrestling Inc., the former one half of Lucha Dragons tag team has made his return.
Kalisto returned to action at last night’s WWE live event in Sioux City, Iowa. He helped Sin Cara after a loss to Braun Strowman. Kalisto has been out of action since August 2nd with a back injury.
His return will help bring some excitement back to the ring with his high-flying style in the ring. Although his ability would be best serviced on the Raw roster in the cruiserweight division, he will be much welcomed on Smackdown Live. It will be interesting to see what type of role that they put him.
Kalisto has been with the WWE since 2013 where he worked his way up through NXT. He has twice been the United States champion with his second title reign being for more than 100 days. Kalisto could see himself be involved in the Intercontinental championship picture.
