The New Orleans Pelicans are off to a slow start out of the gate to the season having dropped 12 of their first 19 games. Their roster has also been decimated with a slew of injuries and mishaps that have put them a bigger bind. According to Jennifer Hale of the FSNO, the Pelicans will be getting some offensive firepower back in the near future.
The @PelicansNBA could get Tyreke Evans back soon, possibly 2 weeks. He’s pain free, down to 7% body fat. Expected Minute restriction: 16-20

The return of Evans could be huge for New Orleans, who have been solely relying on Anthony Davis to lead the way each night. The former Rookie of the Year winner has proven to be a reliable contributor for the team over the last couple of years averaging 15.5 points, 6.0 assists, and 5.0 rebounds in two-plus seasons with the Pelicans. His presence will help provide some stability in the backcourt.
New Orleans has just seen the return of Jrue Holiday back to the lineup after he took care of some personal business watching over his wife and newborn daughter. With the team getting back to full strength, it could help their playoff push tremendous. They are headed in the right direction having won five out of their last seven games.
