Through the early portion of the season, Anthony Davis has been on an absolute tear. He has been producing at an astronomical level with an eye-popping performance seemingly every night. According to ESPN, Davis has made history through the first 10 games of the season.

Davis has excelled with the extended offensive role with the New Orleans so far this season currently being third in the league in scoring averaging 31.1 points per game. This includes seven games notching 30 or more points with two performances dropping 45 and 50. Davis has proven himself to be nearly unstoppable on the court despite being his team’s only true offensive threat.
Although these numbers are quite impressive, it highlights the fact that Davis needs to perform at this level for them to even have the chance to win on a nightly basis. The Pelicans hold the worst record in the league winning just one of their first 10 games. Until the front office gets him some help, New Orleans will continue this downward trend.
