One of the biggest stories of the offseason was Dwyane Wade’s decision to leave the Miami Heat for the Chicago Bulls. Wade started his NBA career in Miami and won 3 championships with them. Many thought Wade would play his entire career there and were understandably shocked when he announced his move to his hometown team.
Wade recently let slip that he hasn’t talked to Pat Riley since he left Miami. Does Riley hold a grudge or is something else going on? It may be that he regrets the decision and wishes they kept Wade in Miami. Sources in Miami have said something to that effect:
According to David Alrdidge, Pat Riley says he should have given Dwyane Wade a long-term max deal in the summer of 2014.

Miami Heat fans will forever be left wondering what if. Wade met his former team for the first time on Thursday night in Miami. The Chicago Bulls narrowly edged out the Heat with a 98-95 victory.
