In the last several days, one of the hot topics around the Atlanta Hawks has become the future of Paul Millsap. There have been persistent rumors that he could be moved ahead of February’s trade deadline. According to Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, at least one NBA team is interested in acquiring his services.
The Sacramento Kings are a team very interested in Paul Millsap.

This would be quite an interesting fit if a trade were to be worked out. The pairing of Millsap and DeMarcus Cousins could help further make their shot at making the playoffs a realistic scenario. Millsap is one of the league’s most underrated players that has developed in a solid all-around talent currently averaging 17.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.6 steals per game this season.
Although a deal to the Kings is unlikely, there is a strong chance that the 31-year-old could be on the move. He is in the final year of his contract making him an unrestricted free agent next summer. With the front office already trading away Kyle Korver, Millsap could be next in line.
