The Lakers are a young team with a lot of potential. Unfortunately, some of that potential just got sidelined.
In his first road game of his professional career, Brandon Ingram suffered an injury to the knee. It sent him to the locker room, and when he returned with his leg in ice, he said his knee felt funny. He ended up getting pulled for the remainder of the game, clocking just 4 minutes on the floor. HC Luke Walton says he won’t return until they’re certain that he’s ok.
Luke Walton on Ingram: “There’s no way we’re going to get him out there playing again until we know there’s nothing wrong with his knee.”

The Lakers face off against Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder next, so they’ll certainly be hoping that their prize rookie makes a return soon.
