Since No Mercy earlier two weeks ago, Becky Lynch has been sidelined with an undisclosed injury unrelated to wrestling. There had been no timetable for her return. According to Wrestling Inc., the Irish Lass Kicker is set to make her return next week.
It looks like SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will be returning to the ring one week early as she’s been added to Tuesday’s SmackDown tapings in Green Bay. As noted, Becky has been out of action with an undisclosed health issue and is scheduled to defend against Alexa Bliss on the November 8th SmackDown from Glasgow.
The 29-year-old has yet to defend the Women’s Smackdown Live championship that she won at Backlash last month. it was supposed to happen at No Mercy but this injury prevented her from partaking in a match against No. 1 contender Alexa Bliss. This bout has been rescheduled to happen on Nov. 8 on Smackdown live in Glasgow, Scottland.
Lynch has progressively risen the ranks of the women’s division in the WWE. She was promoted to the main roster last year with this being her first title with the company. Her return will allow her to build momentum toward likely a long reign as the first Smackdown Live women’s champion.
