Cam Newton takes his social media very seriously.
That’s the message he sent on Wednesday during a press conference. A reporter asked him about a series of instagram he posted on his bye week vacation, wondering if the time off had helped clear his head from the bad start the Panthers have had to the season.
Before he could even finish, Newton interrupted to ask if he “liked” the photos. Not if he enjoyed them, but if he had used the like function on the instagram app. When the reporter replied that he hadn’t, Newton called him a ghost follower and turned his head away. It was all in good fun, of course, and got a big laugh from the room.
