Cavs Give Key Bench Player Indefinite Leave Of Absense After His Mother Passes Away From Cancer



Tonight the Cleveland Cavaliers face off against the Toronto Raptors in a rematch of last years Eastern Conference Finals. Their bench will be one player short, sadly, as Channing Frye will be taking a leave from the team.

On Friday morning, Frye’s mother passed away after a long battle with cancer. The team has granted him an indefinite leave of absence to take as much time he needs to be with his family and loved ones.

Our thoughts are with Frye and his family during this difficult time.
