In the last few years, Charlotte has quicken risen to prominence in the professional wrestling scene. She has developed into arguably the biggest female superstars on the WWE main roster. In a recent interview with the Orlando Sentinel, Charlotte spoke about what her father, Ric Flair, legacy means to her.
“I’m just carrying on his legacy and being able to be on the same stage as him when he was at the Citrus Bowl in 2008 means a lot.”
Flair has had a tremendous impact on Charlotte’s career opening her eyes to the business. Since she initially began to wrestle in 2008, it has been a progressive climb to the top in the WWE after she signed with NXT in 2o12. Charlotte has used her opportunity to the fullest while continuing to honor her father in the process.
Although she will forever be linked to Flair, Charlotte is certainly building a legacy of her own. She has successfully found a niche as a heel and has a bright future ahead of herself. When it’s all said and done, she could have put together a WWE Hall of Fame career.
