Finn Balor Has His Eyes Set On An Ideal WrestleMania Match

It has been several months since Finn Balor last stepped in the ring for the WWE. He has been steadily recovering from a torn labrum injury. With his eyes set on making a return at or before WrestleMania 33, he stated during an interview at the 2017 Wizard World Comic Con New Orlean that he has one opponent in mind. (H/T Wrestling Inc.)

“As you can see I can pick you up, my shoulder’s almost better,” Finn said. “Hopefully I’ll be able to get Seth Rollins back at WrestleMania.”

Balor had suffered his injury during the match against Rollins at SummerSlam and he was still able to finish on top. However, he had to relinquish the belt after he found out the extent of the damage in his shoulder. During that time, Rollins has yet to hold the title once as Kevin Owens has been the single holder.

With there still being about three months until the event, it gives plenty of time to develop a strong storyline. Balor is hoping to return at a pay-per-view before WrestleMania. This match could certainly be a possibility as long as he is able to return to the ring before then.
