Here’s What Kyle Rudolph Actually Said To Matt Stafford After Their Game

By

After the Lions beat the Vikings, Minnesota tight end Kyle Rudolph approached Detroit quarterback Matt Stafford to have a word.

Initially, most outlets reported that Rudolph told Stafford that he was “the best thing to ever happen to Detroit.” But Kyle didn’t insult the city, and he took to Twitter to clear things up.

Stafford’s wife is pregnant with twins, and Rudolph has twin daughters of his own. He wasn’t trying to bad mouth Detroit or compliment Stafford, he was just talking father to father about how much joy his twins had brought him. Good to see they can put aside football and come together over the important things in life.
