Earlier this week, Brooke Hogan, who is Hulk Hogan’s daughter, got the rumor mill buzzing after she hinted that her the Hulkster could make his return at WrestleMania 33. This has immediately got many wondering what could be in store for him at the event. However, Hogan has finally caught wind of it and addressed the situation on Eric Bischoff”s MLW Radio podcast.
I know if I don’t bring it up nobody will. So anyway, Brooke’s running around on TMZ and made the statement about me and wrestling and WrestleMania. For the record, she needs the big boot to the head. I haven’t talked to anybody about WrestleMania. I just need to put that to rest. I asked Brooke, “What are you doing?” She goes, “Oh, well, I’m just starting it up.” I said, “Thanks Brooke.” It was kind of funny. I said, “No harm. No foul.” It was all in good fun.
This certainly takes the wind out of the sails for those hoping that Hogan would make his return to the WWE. It has been a few years since he has been in the squared circle for the company. The talk about his return began well ahead of Brooke’s comments as reports suggested that the WWE was interested in bringing him back at some point in the near future.
Although there is no validity to the rumors at this point, it doesn’t mean something can’t come about. Things could quickly formulate if the WWE wants to make it happen. It could be just a matter of time before something is worked out.
