On Monday night the Boston Celtics took on the Minnesota Timberwolves in what turned out to be a closely fought and hugely entertaining game.
Things were heated between both teams, and in the first half a fight almost broke out. Gorgui Dieng put a screen for Zach LaVine and knocked Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas over in the process. Thomas is only 5’9″, tiny compared to Dieng’s 6’11” frame, but that didn’t stop him from stepping up in Dieng’s face.
Ultimately, their teammates stopped the fight before it even started. The Celtics ended up winning 99-93, so Thomas got the last laugh.
