It Was So Cold In Pittsburgh For Wild Card Game That It Interfered With Ref’s Equipment

The NFL playoffs are unpredictable. Single elimination tournaments tend to be that way. But if there’s one thing you can count on in the NFL playoffs, it’s cold weather.

Pittsburgh’s game against the Dolphins was a prime example. It was 18 degrees on the field, with a windchill factor of 5 degrees. It was so cold that it caused a ref’s whistle to malfunction during the 3rd quarter.

So cold the air in it couldn’t even make a sound. That’s pretty damn cold.
