By all appearances, Jacksonville Jaguars coach Gus Bradley is on the hot seat — and the temperature keeps rising.
Earlier this week, Jaguars owner Shad Khan reportedly sat in on a team meeting, which is never a good sign. That alone would be reason for Bradley to worry, but the Jags followed up Khan’s fact-finding mission with an embarrassing Thursday night loss to the Titans in which Jacksonville trailed 27-0 at halftime.
Add it all up, and it’s time for the dreaded “vote of confidence” from ownership for Bradley.
Via the Florida Times-Union:
Moments after the Titans beat the Jaguars 36-22, Khan told the Times-Union: “Actions speak louder than words. Very little for me to say.”
Khan then said Bradley would not be fired despite the Jaguars’ embarrassing performance in which it appeared the players quit on the fourth-year coach.
