“Woah. This guy [Embiid] ? He might be the most talented center in the game.”
This all but confirms that Embiid is a unique talent if an 11-time All-Star and one of the greatest power forwards to play the game is giving him this type of praise. The 22-year-old has shown the entire package on both ends of the floor despite playing 21.0 minutes per game. He’s averaging 17.3 points while registering at least two blocks in the three games that he has played.
The 76ers’ patience looks to have paid off as Embiid has an extremely high ceiling as he’s a well-polished offensive player and has the game-changing ability on defensive as a rim protector. That said, the former Kansas product with have to be patient in his limited role. Once he can prove that he can handle an extended role, Embiid will see his impact and development take off to greater heights.
