Earlier this week, Stephen Curry made NBA history by becoming the first player to make 13 three-pointers in a single game. It broke the previous mark of 12 made 3-point field goals held by Kobe Bryant and Donyell Marshall. This has made it back around to LeBron James, who issued back major praise.
“He’d probably be the one to break it, or one of those guys, KD (Kevin Durant) or Klay (Thompson) could break that,”
This is a common assumption by many given Curry’s rare shooting ability. What was most impressive about this is that it came a game after going 0-for-10 shooting performance against the Los Angeles Lakers. Curry has shown the ability to get hot any moment.
This likely won’t be the last time that Curry challenges his record as he has made at least 10 three-pointers six other times in is NBA career. In that same regard, each of his teammates Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson have shown that ability to heat up from beyond the arc on any given night. All in all, it’s only matter of time before could be tied or passed.
