New Orleans Pelicans Lose Yet Another Player Thanks To DUI

Despite some monster performances from Anthony Davis, the New Orleans Pelicans have struggled this season. Part of that is a depleted roster that just doesn’t have the depth to compete. Injuries have plagued the team, and now the stupid behavior of one player will leave even thinner.

Forward Dante Cunningham plead guilty to charges of DUI, and as such will now face a one game suspension. He’ll miss out as the Pelicans play the Suns tonight, thanks to his inability to call an Uber instead of risking lives by driving drunk.

Cunningham hasn’t been an all star by any means, averaging just 5.6 points and 3.6 rebounds. Still, with a roster as thin as New Orleans, any player counts, and his stupidity has hurt his already struggling team.

In his place, Solomon Hill and Lance Stephenson will share the small forward role.
