In his attempt to return to the court, Chris Bosh has been thwarted with a setback not being cleared to resume playing basketball. This has all but cemented the end of his tenure with the Miami Heat. With that in mind, Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan recently voiced his desire to have Bosh join his team, according to TMZ.
“He’s a native Texan, and I wish him well. I think he should come to the Clippers. I’d come off the bench.”
It’s likely that Jordan was being sarcastic about coming off the bench, but he does have a true desire to have the 11-time All-Star on the team. If Bosh can continue his NBA career, he would be a huge addition to the team because of what he can offer as a reliable scorer and rebounder. He’s still one of the top power forwards in the game and playing alongside Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and DeAndre Jordan would greatly bolster the Clippers’ championship odds.
That said, there are still a lot of moving pieces in this puzzle with Bosh still yet to be cleared to play. Miami has also yet to make an official decision about his future with the team. Ultimately, until the Heat make a move then all this can remain at best speculation.
