The WWE is just a few weeks away from one of their big four pay-per-view event Survivor Series. There have already been a few details to emerge over the last month. According to Wrestle Zone, Randy Orton will not be taking part in the event in late November for a strong reason.
Orton’s wife is currently pregnant and the baby is expected November 22nd just two days after Survivor Series. Due to that Orton has been given the entire week off starting on November 20th, He is scheduled to return to action at the November 29th Smackdown Live TV taping.
Orton has spoken about this ahead of his match against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam in August. The couple is expecting a girl and the timing runs directly in line with the pay-per-view event. The 36-year-old will make his return shortly after that.
Despite Orton not being involved, the WWE already has a jammed pack card that will feature three matches between both brands along with the mega bout between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. There are sure to be several other matches added in the coming weeks. It will likely be a title match for both major belts on each show.
