The WWE is set to make history later this month at the Hell in the Cell pay-per-view with the first women’s match in the event. It’s set to be a title match with Sasha Banks defending the women’s championship against Charlotte. In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair gave a sneak peak about what his daughter has planned for the match.
“She has moves to show off that you’re not going to believe, as long as she lives through it,” said Flair, discussing Charlotte’s upcoming battle with Sasha Banks. “She isn’t afraid of anything, and she’s going to go out and make a statement again—and there is no talking her out of it. You didn’t see me do any moonsaults off the top of a cage, but she has something really special in mind for the cage.”
From the sound of it, this more likely means that Charlotte may indeed to do a moonsault off the top of the cage. This would be completely uncharted territory for the WWE. There are many dangers that come with moves like this but it appears that Charlotte is ready to make it happen.
Charlotte and Banks are two of the top women’s wrestlers in the company that have shown great chemistry together in the ring. They have put on a few entertaining matches with many twists and turns. They will have the major stage at Hell in the Cell to put on the biggest match in history for the women’s division.
