The WWE is set to make history later this month with their first women’s match in Hell in a Cell. This will feature Sasha banks defending the Raw Women’s title against Charlotte. According to Wrestling Inc., Banks is taking extra initiative to be physically prepared for the match.
WWE RAW Women’s Champion Sasha Banks has been training hard to put on more muscle, according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, with the idea that it will make her more resilient.
The Observer adds that this is related to Sasha’s match with Charlotte inside Hell In a Cell later this month because the female Superstars feel they have to do something to make the match memorable, which likely means bigger spots than usual.
This all but clarifies that Banks and Charlotte will try to go outside the box to make this a memorable match. As Ric Flair recently indicated, it could include a moonsault from his daughter from the top of the cage. This will easily be the biggest match for each of these superstars.
It’s even bigger for Banks given that she is also dealing with the injury prone label being placed on her by Vince McMahon. She isn’t that far removed from returning from a back injury that kept her out for a few weeks. All in all, this should set the stage for what should be an intriguing main event match.
