Smackdown Live Announces A Major Change Ahead Of Survivor Series

The WWE is just a couple of weeks away from Survivor Series, which is one of the four major pay-per-views in the business. It’s set to include several matches that pit both brands against each other. According to Wrestle Zone, Smackdown Live has announced a major change to one of the matches.

As noted, WWE announced during today’s Smackdown tapings in Glasgow that Baron Corbin has been pulled from Team Smackdown at WWE Survivor Series.

It was just announced that Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon will be replacing Corbin in the match, which will feature Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles as McMahon’s partners.

This is the first match that McMahon has participated in since WrestleMania 32 against The Undertaker. He has since been in a huge role with Smackdown Live as the commissioner. The decision to include himself in the match should not come as much of a surprise.

What this does is add more intrigue to the match that several of the top superstars in the business. There will be plenty of banter between the two shows ahead of the event regarding the match. It should shape up to being one of the most entertaining on the card.
