The San Antonio Spurs are trekking through their first NBA season in two decades without the services of Tim Duncan, who retired this past offseason. However, his legacy has remained a prominent talk of conversation around the team. In light of that, the organization is set to give him a huge honor.

During his illustrious NBA career, Duncan helped cement a great level of success with the Spurs. He held a .710 winning percentage, which is the best 19-year stretch in NBA history that topped everything in the NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB along with five NBA titles. He has also earned numerous accolades that include five NBA titles, three NBA Finals MVPs, two MVP awards, 15 All-Star selections, 13 All-NBA First Team nods, 15 NBA All-Defensive Team selection.
Duncan also ranks among the best in NBA being sixth in rebounds (15,091), fifth in blocks (3,020) and 14th in points scored (26,496). This has also put him as the all-time leader in franchise history in points, blocks, and rebounds. All in all, Duncan deserves every honor that will come his way.
