Anthony Davis is one of the more popular players in the league, and his 50 point game in the season opener is likely to boost that popularity even further. It’s only right then that he finally gets his own SportsCenter commercial.
SportsCenter commercials are known for making players look hilarious, and Davis didn’t disappoint. In it, he plays the ESPN IT guy in charge of blocking websites on the company computers.

This is the perfect role for Davis. He’s averaged over 2 blocks a game in 3 of his 4 seasons, and at the University of Kentucky he was known as the “shot-eraser.” Back then, he averaged an impressive 4.6 blocks a game. And if his 50 point game to start the season is any indicator, Davis can rack up some pretty impressive numbers across the stat sheet.
