In the last few years, The Rock has been commonly featured in sort of fashion at WrestleMania. Despite his busy schedule, he has routinely found time to come back to his former employer. In a recent interview with WSVN-TV entertainment reporter Chris Van Vliet, The Brahma Bull hinted that he could be back once again for WrestleMania 33.
Rock replied, “What’s in Orlando?”
Van Vliet responded, “A little thing called WrestleMania.”
Rock said, “Sure, ya I’ll see you there.”
Although this doesn’t sound like a solid commitment, it would be quite a change from the original reports that stated he would be busy filming during that time. The Rock over the last couple of years has become more heavily involved in the movie industry to the point where he’s now the highest-paid actor in the United States. He is also set to have three films released next year in Fast 8, Baywatch, and Jumanji.
That said, he has always found a way to make time to at least make an appearance for the event. It’s the grandest stage of professional wrestling and the one time of the year where all the stops are made. At this moment, there appears to be a strong chance that the People’s Champ will be there.
