The rumor mill has heated up over the last few weeks around the Atlanta Hawks surrounding the availability of Paul Millsap. Several teams have voiced their interest in acquiring the All-Star forward. However, The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Atlanta no longer has him on the trading block.

This is quite a quick change of mind frame from the front office who were gauging the interest around the league. The list of teams holding some interest included the Sacramento Kings, Philadelphia 76ers, Denver Nuggets, and Boston Celtics. Things didn’t progress further than that in the past few days.
Millsap appears to be headed toward a huge payday in the offseason as an unrestricted free agent reportedly desiring a contract paying $35 million a year. It will be interesting to see if any team matches those numbers. With there still being over a month until the trade deadline, things could change.
