In three more weeks, Goldberg will make his long-awaited return to the ring against Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. It will mark the end of a nearly 13-year absence. In light of that, Goldberg had his first in-ring encounter on this week’s edition of Raw with Paul Heyman and Rusev.<blockquote class=”twitter-tweet” data-lang=”en”><p lang=”en” dir=”ltr”>First a <a href=”https://twitter.com/hashtag/Jackhammer?src=hash”>#Jackhammer</a> to <a href=”https://twitter.com/RusevBUL”>@RusevBUL</a>, then a SPEAR for <a href=”https://twitter.com/HeymanHustle”>@HeymanHustle</a>! <a href=”https://twitter.com/hashtag/RAW?src=hash”>#RAW</a> <a href=”https://twitter.com/Goldberg”>@Goldberg</a> <a href=”https://twitter.com/hashtag/FantasyWarfareJustGotReal?src=hash”>#FantasyWarfareJustGotReal</a> <a href=”https://twitter.com/hashtag/SurvivorSeries?src=hash”>#SurvivorSeries</a> <a href=”https://t.co/0jV5CJXmaP”>pic.twitter.com/0jV5CJXmaP</a></p>— WWE (@WWE) <a href=”https://twitter.com/WWE/status/793245079649476608″>November 1, 2016</a></blockquote>

Although he displayed some obvious ring rust, Goldberg still showed that he has the athletic ability to be a force in the ring. His Jackhammer of Rusev was nearly clean and the spear of Heyman was strong. There shouldn’t be any concern about how he will perform in the near future.
Goldberg is training to make sure he is in peak conditioning while working off his ring rust. He will need to be at his best against Lesnar a few weeks. If he can, there’s no question thaPhoto Credit: WWE.comt the two legends can work out a great match.
