Last night, tragedy struck at the end of the Broncos-Texans game in Denver.
After the game ended and fans were exiting the arena, one fan fell over a railway, falling 30-50 to the concrete below. The fan, whose name has not been released, was rushed to Denver Health Medical Center, where doctors fought overnight to stabilize the fan’s condition. Unfortunately, the fall was too much and the person passed away.
The incident occurred at 9:44PM local time. The Broncos issued the following statement:
“A fan was taken to the hospital after falling over a stairwell railing at Sports Authority Field at Mile High shortly after Monday night’s game,” read a statement released by the stadium’s management company on Tuesday. “Our thoughts are with the injured fan, and we are in the process of learning more about this incident from the Denver Police Department’s investigation.”
