The New York Knicks faced a whole number of uncertainties coming into this season. They made some serious moves in the offseason to change the face of the team and better position themselves to win. They added former Bulls stars Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah. So far, Rose seems to be settling into the team and working well with both Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis.
Joakim Noah has been less impressive in his start with the New York Knicks. The aging center has had a history of injury problems and looks sluggish so far. Jeff Hornacek has been limiting his minutes to try and figure out how to best utilize the big man. When asked, Hornecek had this to say:
Hornacek plans to keep Joakim Noah's minutes about the same:
"He just looked tired after those first three or four minutes (last night.)"

It remains to be seen whether or not Joacim Noah will ever find success in his hometown city of New York. Can he overcome the problems his own body raises?
