This is quite an impressive mark that shows that he has had longevity in the league. Carter has a chance to move up that list this season if he can up his scoring total to about 8.0 points per game to pass Hall of Famer Allen Iverson and possibly Ray Allen. That said, Regardless of where he finishes Carter has already cemented his legacy.
He is regarded as one of the most explosive players to play the game during his heyday. Carter may be a shell of his former self, but can at times show flashes of what made him such a dynamic player. Ultimately, it’s just another notch on the belt of what’s been an impressive NBA career.
