In the last few days, there have been growing rumors about the Golden State Warriors potentially being interested in trading All-Star guard Klay Thompson. All of this sparked from former NBA player Brian Scalabrine indicating that the team may move him to the Boston Celtics. It didn’t take long for the Warriors get in front of this chatter regarding Thompson.
On the Klay Thompson-to-Boston front, Warriors are shooting down the notion that there have been any actual talks. Interesting idea though.

It’s not surprising to hear that Golden State has not interest in trading Thompson. He is one of their core players that has developed into one of the top players in the league. It would be foolish to believe at this point that the Warriors would think about moving him at all
Yes, Thompson has had some early-season struggles with his shot due to trying to adjust to playing with Kevin Durant, but he has begun to pick it up recently scoring at least 19 points over the last four contests and his 3-point shooting percentage has jumped up to 31.9 percent. So unless things completely bottom out with the Durant experiment, then any rumors like this should not be taken seriously.
