WWE Finally Announces The Undertaker’s Return

In the last few weeks, the rumor mill has been hot around the topic of The Undertaker’s return to the ring. There has been growing speculation that he would be back sooner than rather later. According to Wrestling Inc., all of this speculation can now cease.

Taker has been announced for the final SmackDown episode before Survivor Series, which is the November 15th episode from Wilkes-Barre, PA. He’s likely being brought in because this is the 900th episode of SmackDown, not for the Survivor Series build but anything is possible. There’s also speculation that this could be the kickoff to his WrestleMania 33 angle.

It’s highly unlikely that he makes a return at Survivor Series given he recently underwent hip surgery. However, it opens the door wide open to him wrestling at WrestleMania 33 next April. There many different angles that can be taken from this news.
It also creates a laundry list of opponents he can face for the pay-per-view event. There is an endless amount of possibilities that can all be feasible. All in all, his return to the show is great news in its own right.
