WWE Has Major Plans Ahead For Cruiserweight Division

The WWE immediately following the brand split draft, implemented the cruiserweight division back to the program. Since then, there have several entertaining matches. According to Wrestling News World, the WWE has some major plans for this group of wrestlers in the near future.

As for the future of WWE cruiserweights, in addition to being a staple of the Raw brand, they will also be featured on the new “205 Live” show that will premiere later this month on the WWE Network. That show will be centered around WWE Cruiserweight Champion Brian Kendrick, TJ Perkins, Rich Swann, Noam Dar, HoHo Lun, Credric Alexander, Lince Dorado, Gran Metallik, Tozawa, Jack Gallagher, Guru Sihra and Harv Sihra. The top three cruiserweights in the company are Kendrick, Perkins and Rich Swann.

This would provide them another platform to display their unique skill sets. There are many talented superstars in the division that deserve that shine in the business aside from TJ Perkins and Brian Kendrick. This includes wrestlers such as Cedric Alexander and Gran Metallik, who are both strong performers in the ring.

What this shows more than anything else is that the WWE is trying to push the division to the forefront of the business. There is some strong hope that this could help bring much-needed attention. Ultimately, it will be on the WWE’s shoulder to give the proper stage to succeed.
