In the last few weeks, there have been several details that have emerged from Paige’s second suspension for violating the WWE’s wellness policy. The 24-year-old has already voiced her frustration with the situation. According to Wrestling Inc., the company doesn’t believe that she needs the neck surgery.
It will be interesting to see if WWE is paying for the surgery as their doctors reportedly did not believe she needed the surgery.
This just further clouds up the relationship between both sides that seems to be getting worse by the week. Paige is set to undergo the operation next Wednesday that will keep out for at least the next six months. She had already stated in a recent interview with TMZ that she intends on coming back because she is under a long-term contract with the WWE.
That said, there is clearly some frustration from Paige about how she is being treated by her employer. This could create a toxic situation that could be bad for business. It’s something that should be handled with more care by the WWE as it involves one of the prominent women superstars in the business.
