The WWE since the brand split in July has been utilizing various pay-per-view events for each show. It has brought back a few pay-per-views that the company had previously used. According to Wrestling Inc., it appears that the WWE is set to resurrect an old fan favorite.
The WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view will be returning in 2017. While the date has not been confirmed, the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona confirmed on Facebook that the event will take place in 2017 from the arena.
This is great news for wrestling fans with the Elimination chamber being back in the mix of things. It has been one of the most exciting types of matches that the WWE has put together that created many memorable classics. The pay-per-view had been created back in was created in 2010 and typically occurred between the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania in February until 2014.
If the WWE is indeed bringing back the event, the big question that remains is which show will get that honor. The company has typically given their best material to Raw over the years. All in all, the WWE is making the right move that is sure to create another classic match.
