In just three years with the WWE, Alexa Bliss has risen the ranks on through NXT to the main roster. She has done it with a little background in professional wrestling before her endeavor into the profession. According to a recent interview with The Whig, Bliss revealed who has been tremendous help along the way.
“In NXT, I was there for the start of the women’s revolution with the Four Horsewomen and I just remember one person who always helped me out was Charlotte. My first day, she took me under her wing, showed me the ways. She would always get in the ring with me for extra time and practice with me and she became one of the biggest names now in WWE, when I think of superstars, and is main eventing and is having these iconic, historic moments. She was one person who definitely helped me.”
Charlotte has a wealth of knowledge about the ins and outs of the professional wrestling business being the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair. She certainly knows what it takes to make in the business, which makes her a strong option as a mentor. It has also aided her in her own cause in becoming arguably the top woman superstar in the WWE.
All of this has also helped Bliss become a prominent wrestler in the women’s division on Smackdown Live. She is now in line for a shot at the Smackdown Live Women’s title and has found her niche as a heel. More importantly, Bliss has a bright future ahead of her.
